Delhi's Patiala House Court received a bomb threat on Tuesday, just hours before the scheduled appearance of Jasir Bilal Wani, a key suspect in the Red Fort bomb blast. The threat, which was sent via email, was later determined to be a hoax. However, it led to increased security measures and a brief disruption to court proceedings. In addition to Patiala House, the Saket and Tis Hazari courts in Delhi also received bomb threats, prompting authorities to temporarily suspend court work. But with the threats deemed to be false, operations were soon resumed. According to court officials, Rapid Action Force (RAF) personnel were deployed outside Patiala House Court as a precautionary measure, while bomb disposal and dog squads were also called to the scene. Jasir Bilal Wani, who is set to be produced before the court, has been arrested by the Jammu and Kashmir Police in connection with the Red Fort blast, which claimed over 10 lives on November 10. The blast was linked to a Faridabad terror module, and Wani's arrest is seen as a significant breakthrough in the investigation. Wani's uncle was also arrested in connection with the case, and police believe that the two may have had links to a terror module led by doctor brothers Adil Rather and Muzaffar Rather. Adil Rather was arrested earlier this month in Uttar Pradesh for his role in pasting Jaish-e-Mohammad posters in Nowgam.
