Congress leader Supriya Shrinate believes the people of Bihar will teach the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) a lesson for allegedly manipulating their voting rights. Speaking on the exit poll projections, Shrinate expressed confidence in the Mahagathbandhan's chances of forming the government in the state. Shrinate's statement came after exit polls predicted that the NDA is poised to form the government again in Bihar, with the opposition Mahagathbandhan falling short of the majority mark in the 243-member state assembly. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Awadesh Prasad countered the exit poll claims, stating that the people of Bihar have made up their minds to remove the BJP government. Prasad cited a public rally where he claimed the people expressed their desire to elect Tejashwi Yadav as their Chief Minister. The exit polls, conducted by various agencies, predicted the following results: - People's Pulse: NDA (133-159 seats), Mahagathbandhan (75-101 seats), Jan Suraaj (0-5 seats) - People's Insight: NDA (133-148 seats), Mahagathbandhan (87-102 seats), Jan Suraaj (0-2 seats) - JVC: NDA (135-150 seats), Mahagathbandhan (88-103 seats), Jan Suraaj (0-1 seat) - DVC Research: NDA (137-152 seats), Mahagathbandhan (83-98 seats), Jan Suraaj (2-4 seats) The overall polling percentage for the two phases stood at 66.91%, the highest voter turnout recorded in the state since 1951.
