The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has launched a probe into the Delhi blast that killed 10 people and injured several others. The agency has formed a team to investigate the terror plot, which reportedly led to the explosion near Red Fort. The national capital remains on high alert, with security checks at Delhi borders and random vehicle inspections across the city. Security personnel continue to be deployed at the blast site, where a Hyundai i20 car exploded on Monday evening. Investigations have revealed that the driver of the car was a Pulwama-based doctor, Umar un-Nabi. The police have discovered a link between the Red Fort blast and a terror module busted in Faridabad a day prior. To ensure public safety, security checks are being carried out at interstate borders, markets, metro stations, railway terminals, and bus stands. Sniffer dogs, metal detectors, and anti-sabotage teams are also being used at sensitive locations. The cause of the blast is still unknown, but investigators believe it may have originated from a "cylinder-type device" inside the car. However, an officer revealed that the bomb used in the explosion was "premature" and had limited impact. The suspect allegedly feared that the police would narrow down on him after his associates were arrested in the Faridabad raids. The NIA's probe is ongoing, and the city remains on high alert.
