In a significant development in the Red Fort blast probe, investigators have linked key pieces of the puzzle to the alleged 'suicide bomber', Dr Umar Un Nabi. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has referred to the driver of the Hyundai i20 car as a "suicide bomber" for the first time, shedding new light on the case. A crucial investigation is underway to track the last two mobile phones used by Nabi, which are believed to hold vital clues to his digital footprint. The probe has revealed that Dr Umar had five SIM cards linked to him, with the last two numbers being the key to tracing his final moments. According to officials, Dr Umar used two phones between October 30 and November 10, but both phones are now missing. The investigators have scanned a total of 65 CCTV cameras to recreate the alleged bomber's final hours. A critical clue was discovered in a CCTV footage from Dhauj market, where Nabi is seen sitting inside a medical store with two phones. In the footage, timestamped October 30, Nabi is seen handing one phone to the shop owner for charging while keeping the other in his hand. This simultaneous use of two phones indicates that one was used for routine communication and the other for handlers and operational messaging. The investigators have also mapped Umar's route through Khalilpur and Rewasan toll plazas, into Faridabad, and eventually Delhi. On the day of the blast, Umar and the i20 car were spotted in Ferozepur Jhirka in Nuh outside an ATM at 1:07 AM. Testimonies from the guard on duty and an eatery staff in Nuh paint a picture of a restless and anxious Nabi. The guard described Nabi as 'impatient, anxious, and driving erratically', while the eatery staff recalled that Nabi was 'restless and glancing constantly at passing vehicles'. The investigators are now piecing together the puzzle to understand the final hours of the alleged 'suicide bomber'. The probe has raised more questions than answers, but one thing is clear - the Delhi blast has left a trail of disturbing clues that are being carefully examined by the authorities.
