A cosmetics shopkeeper near Delhi's Red Fort, Rajeev Kumar, is struggling to sleep since Monday's devastating blast, which left him with vivid memories of the carnage. Kumar was among the first responders, who rushed to help the injured before ambulances arrived. He recalled the moment he saw people lying on the road, bleeding, and helped an injured man into an ambulance. "I thought it was a cylinder blast, but seeing people in pain made me rush to help," Kumar said. Two days after the blast, Kumar visited the LNJP Hospital to check on the man he had helped, driven by concern for his well-being. "The scene has been etched in my mind, and I couldn't sleep for the last two nights," he said. Ambulance driver Fizaan, who ferried several wounded to the hospital, described the horrific scenes he witnessed. "I carried body parts in my hands, and they were still shaking," he said. Fizaan and his colleague Imran worked tirelessly to rescue those trapped in the chaos. The high-intensity blast near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro station killed at least 12 people and injured over 20 others on Monday.
