In a recent hearing, the Delhi High Court expressed frustration with the ongoing estate battle between Karisma Kapoor's children and their stepmother Priya Kapur. The court was told that the fees of one of Karisma's children, Samaira, had not been paid for two months. However, Priya's lawyers disputed this claim, stating that all expenses had been fulfilled. The court was hearing an application filed by Karisma's children to prevent Priya from selling off their late father Sunjay Kapur's assets. The children accuse Priya of forging Sunjay's will to gain control of the property. Sunjay Kapur, a wealthy businessman, died in June while playing polo in London. The court has listed the matter for further hearing next week. In a stern warning, Justice Jyoti Singh told the lawyers to avoid 'melodrama' in the court and to ensure that such issues do not arise again. The estate battle involves a disputed inheritance worth ₹30,000 crore, making it one of the largest inheritance cases in India.
