The Delhi Police has issued two summons to Al Falah University chairman Javed Ahmad Siddiqui in connection with the ongoing probes into a Faridabad terror module case and two cases of forgery and cheating against the university. Investigators have identified Siddiqui's statement as crucial in clarifying inconsistencies related to the university's functioning and the activities of its associates. The Crime Branch has registered two FIRs against the Haryana-based university for alleged cheating and forgery, following concerns raised by the University Grants Commission and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. These regulatory bodies discovered 'major irregularities' in the university's accreditation claims, prompting an in-depth investigation. The police are also examining the university's links to a recent blast near the Red Fort, where several suspects with ties to the institution are being investigated. Further inquiry is underway to shed light on the matter.
