A shocking revelation has emerged from the interrogation of Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh, a notorious drug trafficker deported from Dubai last month. Shaikh, also known as 'Lavish,' has confessed to organizing high-end rave parties in India and abroad, attended by influential figures from the film and fashion industries, as well as notorious gangsters, including Alishah Parkar, the nephew of Dawood Ibrahim. According to officials from the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC), Shaikh's lavish lifestyle, which included expensive cars, watches, and clothes, was a testament to his involvement in the narcotics trade. Shaikh allegedly provided drugs to partygoers, and his parties were often attended by high-profile individuals. Initially arrested in March 2024 over a ₹252 crore mephedrone seizure in western Maharashtra's Sangli district, Shaikh is believed to be part of an international drug syndicate that operated from Dubai. His deportation followed a Red Corner Notice. The ANC is now investigating the extent of Shaikh's claims, including the identities of other participants in the racket and potential involvement of other drug traffickers. Officials have not ruled out questioning the celebrities named by Shaikh in his confession, sparking concerns about the dark side of Bollywood's party culture.
