The family of Dr. Muzammil Shakil, a Kashmiri doctor arrested in connection with a terror module in Faridabad, has denied any involvement in the alleged activities. Dr. Shakil's mother, Naseema, and brother spoke out against the allegations, calling for his release. Naseema said that her son left home four years ago to work as a doctor in Delhi, and they had no knowledge of his activities during that time. She expressed concern for her son's well-being and sought his release, stating that they had no information about the alleged terror module. Dr. Shakil's brother also denied any involvement in the alleged activities, stating that their family has a clean record and has never been involved in any cases related to terrorism. He emphasized that they are 'Indians by heart' and have faced hardships, including stone-pelting, for supporting the country. The allegations against Dr. Shakil came to light after 360 kg of explosive material and ammunition were recovered from his rented house in Faridabad's Dhauj village. The police have also linked Dr. Shakil to the Red Fort blast in Delhi, which killed eight people and injured 20 others. Further investigation revealed that Dr. Shakil was teaching at Al Falah University in Dhauj and had rented the house about three months ago. The police have also recovered 2,563 kg of ammonium nitrate from a house in Fatehpur Taga village in Faridabad. The probe has also revealed that Dr. Shakil was connected to a terror module linked to the massive seizures in Faridabad. The police have arrested several individuals, including Dr. Adil Ahmed, who was taken into custody on October 30. Dr. Umar Un Nabi, a resident of Pulwama, has also been linked to the alleged terror module and is suspected to be behind the wheel of the car that exploded near the Red Fort in Delhi.
