Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has ordered the state police to maintain a high level of vigilance following the car explosion in Delhi that claimed eight lives. The incident occurred near the Red Fort, leaving several others injured. In response to the tragedy, Sawant assured that preventive measures are being strengthened to prevent similar incidents in Goa. He also acknowledged the ongoing investigation, led by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who convened a high-level security review meeting to assess the situation. The meeting, which took place at the Ministry of Home Affairs' office, was attended by top officials, including the Home Secretary, Director of the Intelligence Bureau, and the Director General of the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The review comes amid heightened security concerns in Delhi, as multiple agencies probe the explosion. In a separate development, the family of one of the victims, Ashok, received his mortal remains in Uttar Pradesh's Amroha district. His sister-in-law, Sumati, pleaded for government assistance to support Ashok's family, which includes two young daughters and a six-year-old son. Forensic experts from the FSL and the NIA revisited the blast site to collect additional evidence, which will be used to register a First Information Report and take over the investigation from the Delhi Police.
