A 56-year-old Indian woman, Sarbjit Kaur, has gone missing while on a pilgrimage to Pakistan's Nankana Sahib, a sacred site for Sikhs. Kaur, from Punjab's Kapurthala, was part of a 1,900-strong group that visited Gurdwara Nankana Sahib to celebrate the 556th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev. Despite her group returning to India on Thursday night, Kaur's whereabouts remain unknown. According to police, three cases have been registered in Kapurthala, and immigration authorities in Pakistan have informed their Indian counterparts about the incident. Indian immigration authorities are working to gather more information about Kaur and her family members. This incident comes after India lifted travel restrictions to Pakistan, which were imposed following the Pahalgam terror attack. The first group to visit Pakistan after the restrictions were lifted returned to India on Thursday night, but Kaur's disappearance has raised concerns. An investigation has been launched to locate her, and her family is waiting anxiously for news of her safe return.
