A shocking video has come to light in the investigation of the November 10 car blast near Delhi's Red Fort. The footage, believed to have been recorded before the blast, shows Dr. Umar Un Nabi, the driver of the car that exploded, discussing what he calls a 'martyrdom operation.' In the video, Nabi is heard explaining that the term 'suicide bombing' is often misunderstood and that he views his planned actions as a 'martyrdom operation.' He describes this as a situation where an individual is prepared to die at a particular place and time. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has confirmed that Nabi was driving the car when it exploded, killing 11 people. The agency has also arrested a key conspirator in the case and referred to the incident as a 'vehicle-borne IED' attack. The Hyundai i20, which had been sold multiple times and retrofitted with a CNG tank, blew up at a traffic signal on November 10. Forensic tests have confirmed that Nabi was behind the wheel when the car exploded. The Delhi Police's Special Cell has filed a separate case to investigate the broader conspiracy, including whether explosives were procured and vehicles purchased for the attack. The NIA has taken over the case, and the investigation is ongoing.
