MeitY and IEA Launch Global Call for AI in Energy Casebook - Submit by Nov 21

In a groundbreaking collaboration, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and the International Energy Agency (IEA) have issued a global call for abstracts for their upcoming casebook on the 'Real-World Impact of Artificial Intelligence in Energy.' Scheduled for release at the India-AI Impact Summit in February 2026, the casebook aims to showcase innovative AI-driven energy solutions to a global audience of policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders. The MeitY-IEA partnership seeks to harness global expertise and analytical frameworks to support India's vision for responsible, inclusive, and impactful AI adoption, in line with the Global South's sustainable energy goals. The casebook will feature contributions from experts, including researchers, innovators, and practitioners who have implemented AI solutions in the energy sector. To participate, applicants can submit their abstracts, not exceeding 200 words, by November 21, 2025. The shortlisted entries will be invited to contribute a chapter (800 words) in alignment with the casebook goals. The International Energy Agency (IEA), a Paris-based autonomous intergovernmental organization, represents 75% of global energy demand through its 32 member countries and 13 association countries. The IEA provides policy recommendations, analysis, and data on the global energy sector.
