Mysterious Murder: Truck Driver's Body Found in Giridih; Vehicle Recovered in Dumka

In a shocking case of murder, the body of a 25-year-old truck driver was found in Giridih district, Jharkhand, on November 16. The driver, identified as Dhiraj Kumar from Khagaria district in Bihar, was reportedly killed to steal the iron rod-laden truck. However, the perpetrators had to abandon the vehicle at Dumka after fearing police detection. According to the police, the truck was loaded with iron rods at Raniganj on November 15 and was headed to Banaras in Uttar Pradesh when the incident occurred. The truck owner, Ranjit Roy from West Bengal, lost contact with the driver on November 16 after his mobile phone was found switched off. The truck owner, using the GPS installed in the vehicle, tracked it to Bhalua Mode on NH-133 in Saraiyahat, where it was found abandoned. The police have seized the truck and registered a case at Bagodar Police Station. Further investigation is underway to identify the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
