A National Security Guard (NSG) bomb disposal team arrived in Khandawali village, Faridabad, on Wednesday to assess a red Ford EcoSport linked to Dr Umar ur Nabi, the prime suspect in the Red Fort blast case. Intelligence inputs from the Jammu and Kashmir Police led authorities to the vehicle, which was found parked near a farmhouse owned by an acquaintance of Dr Nabi. The area around the car has been secured, with a 200-meter radius cordoned off to ensure public safety. Once the NSG confirms the vehicle is safe, it will be handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for further forensic examination and investigation. According to police officials, Dr Nabi's acquaintance, who works at Al-Falah Medical College in Faridabad, owns the farmhouse where the car was found. The vehicle, with registration number DL10 CK 0458, has been seized and is now in the hands of the investigating agency. Dr Nabi's involvement in the investigation began after authorities discovered his connection to a Hyundai i20 seen on CCTV slowing down before exploding into a fireball in Delhi on Monday. Following a series of raids in Faridabad, Dr Nabi's associates – several of whom are doctors and members of an alleged Jaish-e-Mohammed module – were arrested, and nearly 3,000 kg of explosive material was seized.
