A 55-year-old man, Vinayak Pathak, who was injured in the deadly Red Fort blast on November 10, has succumbed to his injuries, taking the death toll to at least 12. Pathak was being treated at Lok Nayak hospital for 60% burn injuries and an amputated limb. In a separate development, police have identified one of the victims as Mohammad Lukman, 60, from Bihar's Begusarai. Lukman's son, Mohammad Sikandar, 35, revealed that his father had traveled to Delhi on November 8 to purchase supplies for his small imitation jewellery shop. After the blast, the family struggled to locate Lukman, with police initially unable to confirm his status. Sikandar recalled that they last spoke to their father on November 10, when he was near the Sadar Bazar area, close to Jama Masjid. The family believed Lukman might not have been near the blast site and continued their search, registering an FIR. However, it wasn't until November 13 that they were able to identify Lukman's body at the Lok Nayak Hospital mortuary. Lukman's family is now grappling with the loss of their patriarch, who earned around ₹10,000 to ₹15,000 a month. His death has left them financially and emotionally shattered. The family had previously sold imitation jewellery outside Akshardham metro station in Delhi before moving back to Begusarai. The Red Fort blast investigation continues, with police making progress in identifying the victims and potential suspects. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has already arrested a 'co-conspirator' linked to the blast, who had worked on drones and rockets.
