A shocking revelation has emerged in the investigation into the Red Fort blast, which left at least 10 people dead. The accused, Dr Umar Un Nabi, a 28-year-old doctor from Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir, had been in the Kashmir valley just days before the incident. According to his brother Zahoor Illahi, Umar had instructed him to dispose of his phone in water if his name appeared in the news. Zahoor, who was initially uncooperative, eventually cracked under police interrogation and led them to the disposal site where Umar's damaged phone was recovered. Despite the damage, forensic experts were able to extract crucial data from the phone, which revealed that Umar had been exposed to radical content related to suicide bombings, including videos from the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and Al-Qaeda. A chilling video surfaced days after the blast, showing Umar discussing the concept of martyrdom operations, which he referred to as a 'misunderstood' idea. The video has raised concerns about the influence of extremist ideologies on young minds. The investigation has also linked the Red Fort blast to the 'white-collar terror module' busted in Faridabad, highlighting the complexity of the terror network. As the probe continues, the authorities are working to unravel the web of connections and understand the motivations behind the attack.
