Delhi Police has revealed that the driver of the car that exploded near Red Fort, Dr Umar un-Nabi, was in possession of at least two mobile phones 11 days before the attack. This information comes from new CCTV footage accessed by the investigating agencies, which shows Nabi in a mobile phone shop in Faridabad on October 19. The footage suggests that Nabi was using multiple phones to contact his associates online, including Dr Ukasha and others involved in the alleged terror module. According to investigators, the Delhi Police's Special Cell has registered a second FIR to probe a 'deeper conspiracy' in the case. The FIR is lodged against the JeM module on charges of criminal conspiracy. The police have also started preparing a list of vehicles that entered the Sunehri Masjid parking area, where Nabi parked his i20 car for three hours on the day of the blast. The investigation has led to the seizure of nearly 3000 kg of explosives and the arrest of Nabi's associates, Muzammil Shakeel Ganaie and Adeel Rather. Police suspect that Nabi was carrying 30-40kg of explosives, which he used in the car blast. The forensic investigation of the i20 car used in the blast did not indicate the presence of a phone, suggesting that Nabi might have discarded them. Meanwhile, the Delhi Police's Crime Branch has lodged two new FIRs against Al-Falah University on charges of cheating and forgery. The cases relate to the university's false accreditation and claims about their college, as well as the production of forged documents to cheat the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The Red Fort blast occurred on November 10, killing at least 12 people. The police have detained a few students from Al-Falah University and are looking for others who are suspected to be part of the module. The investigation is ongoing, and police are working to track down the registration numbers of vehicles that entered the Sunehri Masjid parking area.
