In a significant breakthrough in the Red Fort blast investigation, police have identified the two men who accompanied key suspect Dr. Umar in the Hyundai i20 car that stopped in Faridabad on October 29. The duo, Amir Rashid Mir, a plumber from Kashmir, and Sonu, a car dealership employee from Faridabad, handed over the car to Dr. Umar. Amir was detained in Kashmir on Tuesday, while Sonu was arrested shortly after the blast that killed at least 10 people and injured dozens. According to investigators, the white Hyundai i20 was first spotted in Haryana's Mewat region on Sunday night and remained parked near Sunehri Masjid for over three hours before its occupant drove it to the blast site in New Delhi. The blast occurred around 6:50 pm on Monday, leaving a trail of destruction and charred body parts scattered across the road. As the investigation unfolds, police are focusing on four key questions: why the location was chosen, whether the blast was planned or accidental, if the detonator was hidden in the car's bonnet, and who was inside the vehicle. The National Investigation Agency is working closely with Delhi Police to unravel the mystery behind the Red Fort blast.
