FARIDABAD/NEW DELHI: In a significant breakthrough, investigators have seized a fourth vehicle linked to the Red Fort blasts, further unraveling the logistics and transport chain behind the terror attack. The silver Maruti Brezza (HR87 U 9988), registered in the name of Dr Shaheen Shahid, is the latest addition to the list of vehicles under scrutiny. The Brezza, like the earlier seized vehicles, is believed to have been used to ferry firearms and explosive materials between Jammu & Kashmir and Delhi-NCR. Investigators suspect that the terror module, being probed by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and J&K Police, relied heavily on these vehicles to move ammonium nitrate and other explosive materials. Two of the vehicles, the Brezza and a red Ford EcoSport, were traced to Faridabad over the past two days. The EcoSport, registered in the name of Dr Umar Un-Nabi, was found abandoned in a village, with traces of ammonium nitrate inside. The Brezza, meanwhile, was registered at the address of Al-Falah University, where Umar and another accused, Dr Muzammil Ghanaie, were employed. Investigations have revealed that the terror module used multiple cars to move explosives and weapons across Faridabad and Kashmir. The module, which relied on encrypted apps like Signal to communicate, purchased several vehicles using different names, including Shaheen Shahid and Amir Rashid. The recovery of these vehicles has provided crucial leads on the movement network stretching across Delhi, Haryana, and Jammu & Kashmir. Investigators are analyzing CCTV footage, parking logs, and digital data from the Al-Falah University servers to identify who accessed or used the cars in the days leading up to the blast. Security has been tightened in Dhauj, Khandawali, and neighboring Nuh villages, with multiple raids planned in the coming days. The testimonies of two men, Wasid Khan and Mohammad Faheem, who were detained after the car was found abandoned, could provide the missing link connecting Dr Umar's operations in Faridabad to the Red Fort explosion.
