Red Fort Bombing Condemned: Probe Underway to Uncover Terror Perpetrators and Sponsors

The Union Cabinet has strongly condemned the deadly car explosion near Delhi's Red Fort on Monday evening, which claimed the lives of 10 people. The incident has been described as a 'heinous terror attack' perpetrated by anti-national forces. The Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has directed the investigation to identify and bring to justice the perpetrators, their collaborators, and their sponsors without delay. The government has reaffirmed its commitment to national security and the safety of every citizen. The explosion near the Red Fort on November 10, 2025, was a result of a car bomb, resulting in multiple fatalities and injuries. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken over the probe, which has already found links to an extremist module busted in Faridabad, allegedly linked to the terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM). Investigators have also discovered connections to Al Falah University in Haryana and recovered a large quantity of explosive material in Faridabad. The Cabinet has expressed its appreciation for the statements of support from foreign governments. When asked about the possible involvement of groups operating within India or abroad, Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw declined to comment.
