Shiv Sena Ministers Boycott Maharashtra Cabinet Meet Amid BJP's Induction of Ex-Corporators

A tense atmosphere prevailed in the Maharashtra state secretariat on Tuesday as a group of Shiv Sena ministers skipped the Cabinet meeting. The move comes after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) inducted four former Shiv Sena corporators into their fold. Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde attended the meeting, but the Sena ministers chose not to participate. They later raised their concerns with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, citing the need for adherence to alliance rules. "We didn't appreciate the BJP taking our members into their party without following the necessary protocols," said Pratap Sarnaik, a Sena minister. "We've spoken to the Chief Minister, and he's assured us that these mistakes will be corrected.
