A 55-year-old South Korean woman has filed a complaint against a Gurugram physiotherapist, alleging molestation during a treatment session on November 7. The incident occurred at a physiotherapy centre in Sector 53, where the woman had gone for treatment. According to the complaint, the accused engaged in inappropriate behavior and treated her rudely when she resisted. The police are yet to record the victim's statement due to a lack of a translator. Efforts are underway to arrest the accused, who is currently absconding. This incident comes on the heels of a similar case in Mumbai, where a 27-year-old French woman was allegedly molested by a scooter-borne man in Bandra on November 8. The Mumbai police swiftly arrested the accused, Sunil Waghela, a 25-year-old scrap dealer from Dharavi, within 24 hours of receiving the complaint. The police have seized the scooter used in the offence and tracked down Waghela using technical assistance. The investigation into the Mumbai case involved scanning over 50 CCTV recordings from Bandra and laying a trap in Dharavi. The two incidents have raised concerns about safety and security in India, particularly for foreign nationals. The police are working to ensure that justice is served in both cases and that the perpetrators are brought to account for their actions.
