Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad, has come out in support of his sister Rohini Acharya, who recently made public allegations of humiliation by her brother Tejashwi Yadav and his aide Sanjay Yadav. In a social media post, Tej Pratap demanded a probe into alleged mental harassment of their parents by some individuals he referred to as "Jaichands" - a metaphor for traitors. He urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and the Bihar government to investigate if his parents have been subjected to any form of mental harassment. Tej Pratap claimed that some people are trying to put pressure on his parents, which he believes is a direct attack on the RJD and its legacy. Tej Pratap also accused certain individuals, including Sanjay Yadav, Rameez Nemat Khan, and Pritam Yadav, of misbehaving with his sister, mother, and father. He demanded that they be booked and FIRs be registered against them if they have indeed harassed his family members. Rohini Acharya had earlier alleged that she was sworn at and accused of extracting money and a party ticket in exchange for a kidney she donated to their ailing father. She claimed that she was driven out of her parents' home by the cohorts of her younger brother Tejashwi Yadav. Tej Pratap expressed his support for his sister, saying that he would not tolerate any insult to her and that the perpetrators would have to face the consequences. He warned that the people of Bihar would never forgive those who target his family.
