RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday rejected exit poll projections for the Bihar assembly elections, which largely favored the NDA. Addressing a press conference in Patna, Yadav expressed concerns over the timing of the exit polls, which were released while voting was still underway. Yadav claimed that the Mahagathbandhan had collected positive feedback from voters after the polls ended, citing a higher voter turnout against the current government. He reiterated that the results would be announced on November 14 and the oath ceremony would be held on November 18. The exit polls, conducted by various agencies, predicted a clear edge for the NDA, with some projecting the Mahagathbandhan would not form the government. However, Yadav questioned the sample size and criteria of the surveys, which he said had not been made public. Bihar election exit polls 2025: - Dainik Bhaskar: NDA (145-160), Mahagathbandhan (73-91), Jan Suraaj (0-3) - Matrize Exit Poll: NDA (147-167), Mahagathbandhan (70-90), Jan Suraaj (0-2) - People's Pulse: NDA (133-159), Mahagathbandhan (75-101), Jan Suraaj (0-5) While exit polls do not always reflect the actual election results, the counting of votes will take place on November 14, followed by the oath ceremony on November 18.
