India's kabaddi team is gearing up for the Asian Games with a high-performance camp in Bellary. The camp, scheduled from March 27 to April 2, will feature prominent players like Naveen Kumar, Pawan Sehrawat, and Arjun Deshwal. The camp aims to strengthen India's kabaddi ecosystem and focus on athlete development, fitness, and long-term performance excellence.

India has been a powerhouse in the sport, dominating at the continental level for decades. The camp will be hosted at the Inspire Institute of Sport (IIS) in Bellary and will feature 45 probables in each group.

Leading athletes from the women's contingent include members of the Indian squad that won the Women's Kabaddi World Cup, such as skipper Ritu Negi. The initiative is an important step in India's preparations for the Asian Games.
