After three decades in the film industry, Akshay Kumar has no plans to retire. The actor, who has done over 150 films, recently addressed the question during the trailer launch of Welcome to the Jungle.
Although he admitted that the thought of retirement crosses his mind occasionally, he jokingly said that staying at home would only land him with more responsibilities, such as being an electrician, dog walker, or gardener.
When asked if he would like to spend more time with his family, Akshay revealed that he has already tried taking a break, but it did not last long.
Instead, he advises people to keep working for a long life, saying, 'A person should retire only when he has five seconds left to die.'
