One of the most anticipated films of the year, Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, has finally unveiled its teaser. The makers launched the teaser at a grand event, further adding to the buzz around the film.
The teaser revealed Ranbir Kapoor's look as Lord Rama and also offered a glimpse of Yash as Ravana. However, the internet seems to have mixed reactions to it.
While some users on Reddit and X compared the teaser to Adipurush 2.0, praising its visuals, others were unimpressed, calling it 'AI-enhanced' or 'some fan-made trailer.'
However, several users on X praised Ranbir's look as Lord Rama, calling it 'peak cinema' and 'mind-blowing visuals.'
Ramayana is one of the most ambitious films in the history of Indian cinema, with a combined budget of about ₹4,000 crore. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama and Yash as Ravana, alongside Sai Pallavi as Sita, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, and Ravie Dubey as Lakshmana.
Ranbir also reflected on playing Lord Rama, saying, 'I don't think I'm here to represent Rama. I'm here to learn from him.'
