Union Steel Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy to Launch 'PLI Scheme 1.1' for Steel Industry
Union Steel Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy is set to launch the 'PLI scheme 1.1' for the steel industry today at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi. The scheme aims to boost domestic manufacturing and promote sustainable steel production.
The Steel Ministry's existing PLI scheme has already attracted significant investment, with commitments totaling around ₹27,106 crore and creating over 14,760 direct employment opportunities.
The event will also mark the opening of applications for the scheme, inviting more participation from the industry.
