Magnitude 5.1 Earthquake Strikes Myanmar, No Casualties Reported

A magnitude 5.1 earthquake struck Myanmar Friday morning, occurring at a depth of 127 kilometers, according to the National Center for Seismology. 

Fortunately, there are no reports of casualties. The earthquake hit at 10 am IST, causing quite a stir in the region.

It's worth noting that Myanmar is prone to earthquakes due to its location at the junction of the Alpine-Himalayan Orogenic Belt and the Indonesian Island Arc System.
