Tripura Hosts Successful District-Level ASHA Convention and Workshop

A district-level ASHA convention cum workshop on comprehensive primary health care was recently held at Rajarshi Town Hall in Udaipur, Gomati Tripura. 

The event, attended by esteemed guests including MLAs Ram Pada Jamatia, Ranjit Das, Abhishek Debroy, and Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, aimed to promote community health and recognize the vital role of ASHA workers.

The workshop emphasized the importance of primary healthcare and provided ASHA workers with essential guidelines to enhance their services. Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, who also attended the event, took to social media to express his admiration for the dedication and hard work of ASHA workers, stating that they "consistently play a leading role in improving the standards of healthcare in society."

To encourage excellence, the best-performing ASHA worker was awarded ₹3,000, a certificate, and a handmade frame. This recognition is a testament to the significant impact that ASHA workers have on community health.

The event was organized by the District Health and Family Welfare Society, and its success highlights the commitment of the Tripura government to promoting community health and supporting the vital work of ASHA workers.
