The first installment has shattered box office records, becoming the highest-grossing film of 2025. As the film continues to captivate audiences in theaters a month after its release, rumors have surfaced that the teaser for Dhurandhar 2 will be screened alongside Border 2, set to hit theaters on January 23. According to reports, director Aditya Dhar has re-edited the end-credit sequence of Dhurandhar 1 as a teaser, which will be shown before Border 2. This is not the first time fans have caught a glimpse of the sequel – a teaser was already played at the end of the first part, sending fans into a frenzy on social media. Fans have expressed their enthusiasm on social media, with one commenting, "A smart move to showcase the teaser on the big screen!" Another fan exclaimed, "Double the excitement with Border 2!" One fan even mentioned that the teaser has given them an additional reason to watch Border 2 in theaters. Dhurandhar 2, directed by Aditya Dhar, is inspired by real-life geopolitical events, including the 1999 IC-814 hijacking, the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, and the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. The sequel explores Ranveer Singh's character Hamza's backstory, tracing his rise in Lyari and the completion of his covert anti-terror operation. The film boasts an ensemble cast, including Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan. Border 2, directed by Anurag Singh, is an epic war drama and a sequel to the 1997 classic Border. Starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, the film is based on the 1971 India-Pakistan war and real-life events surrounding it. With both films set to release in the coming weeks, fans are eagerly anticipating the thrilling action and drama to come.
